For example, if 10 amps are available, multiply this by 230 and you'll find out that you can draw a maximum of 2300 watts at your campsite. At the average camping spot, the available ampere is between 6 and 10. We advise you not to bring devices with a capacity higher than 2300 Watts. Even better: if you want to use several appliances at the same time, you have to be far below this level. So your luxury coffee machine should really stay at home!

The indispensable cup of coffee at the campsite
